| Maui Ocean Center operates daily
between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Hours may be extended during the summer and for
private functions and special events. Discover the wonders of Hawaii's ocean
with interactive displays, forty exhibit tanks, open ocean tank, and acrylic
viewing tunnel. There is also an interactive Marine Mammal Discovery Center,
Living Reef Building, outdoor marine pools, full service Seascape Restaurant
and a 6,000 sq. foot Gift Shop. All areas are disabled accessible. Transportation
is NOT included. Children 0-2 years of age are Free. |

The Living
Reef
On touring the living reef exhibit, visitors discover how Hawai'i's
isolation - more than 2,000 miles from any continent or major island group
- has produced a unique assemblage of marine life unequaled on Earth. |

Turtle Lagoon
The most common sea turtle in Hawai'i is honu (green turtle),
named for the color of its body fat. Maui Ocean Center's outdoor exhibit,
"Turtle Lagoon" affords the viewers a close-up view of these marine
reptiles from both above and below the water's surface. |

The Tide Pool
Constructed in the form of an ocean rock pool, the Tide Pool holds a variety
of harmless marine animals. Under the guidance of a marine naturalist, visitors
are welcome to touch the inhabitants of this display.

|
Hammerhead Harbor
Hammerhead sharks have their sensory organs spread out over a wider distance
on their uniquely shaped head, likely giving them an advantage in finding
prey. Adult scalloped hammerhead sharks live offshore, but come in to shallow,
generally murky water, to give birth. This unique exhibit was custom-designed
for juvenile hammerhead sharks, and allows visitors to view the sharks from
both below and above the surface.

Marine Mammal Discovery
Center
The Marine Mammal Discovery Center features interactive displays, videos,
and life-sized models of monk seals, dolphins and whales found in Hawaiian
waters. The 3,000 square-foot exhibit includes educational and entertaining
displays designed for both children and adults. Forty interactive modules,
video monitors and narrative boards are divided into three sections, Monk
Seal, Dolphin and Whale. The dramatic and colorful exhibits brings aquarium
visitors into the world of Hawaii's marine mammals, up to the Northwestern
Hawaiian Islands where the monk seals rest on the shallow atolls, to the
dark depths of the Pacific Ocean, where pilot whales search for its deep
ocean prey. |

The Open Ocean
The Open Ocean is home to graceful stingrays and large, fast-swimming fishes
like sharks and jacks, all of which co-exist in a 750,000-gallon salt-water
aquarium, the largest in the state. A 54-foot-long clear acrylic tunnel
transports visitors through this pelagic realm providing a 240-degree view
of nearly 2,000 fishes, while stingrays slide overhead and sharks look visitors
in the eye.

Seascape Ma'alaea Restaurant
For spectacular views and island-inspired cuisine, Maui Ocean Center's
Seascape Ma'alaea Restaurant is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
Access to the restaurant is available without admission to the park through
the side entrance near Ma'alaea Harbor Village shopping center.
Reef Cafe
Featuring deli-style sandwiches, an assortment of to go lunches, daily
specials, specialty salads, desserts, cold beverages, fruit smoothies,
and freshly brewed espresso and cappuccino.

Cancellation Penalties: For all optional vacation tours
- activities and tour routings are subject to change without notice. Generally
tours canceled outside of 48 hours will not have cancel penalties. No
shows are subject to no refund. Tours missed due to illness will be entitled
to a full refund if physicians papers are submitted.
