We utilize
Aloha Airlines
--one of the two major interisland carriers in Hawaii--for our Fly-Drive packages.Aloha has an all-jet Boeing-737 fleet for fast, comfortable travel between Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island of Hawai`i. Best of all, with over 170 flights to the neighbor islands daily, there's always a flight leaving soon. For those seeking the truly "hidden Hawaii", Aloha's sister airline,
Island Air
offers daily scheduled flights to Molokai and the resort destinations of Lanai City, and Kapalua with DeHavilland Dash-8 jetprop service.
Note that if you utilize Island Air, there is a surcharge of $11 per direction per person. Also, if you fly a route that requires the use of BOTH Aloha Airlines AND Island Air (e.g. Kauai to Molokai, which is quite rare), your price will be much higher because Aloha requires you to buy a ticket for each leg. On Molokai, there is a rental car surcharge. On Lanai, there are no rental cars (and none included in our package), so you must arrange your own transportation.
