CONSTRUCTION ALERT:
The Royal Lahaina Resort will complete renovations to the 330-room Lahaina Kai Tower by the end of February, 2007. Through 2010, Royal Lahaina will go through an additional $300 million in improvements, adding 125 villas, a freestanding spa, large swimming pool, children's center and new restaurant.

In February 2007, the Royal Lahaina Resort completed a $33-million refurbishment to the guestrooms and suites of its 12-story Lahaina Kai Tower. Each room received a $100,000 complete makeover resulting in new luxurious guestrooms and suites celebrating the artistry, environment and culture of Hawaii. |

The Royal Lahaina Resort is an older property that in the past we probably would not have recommended, however this has changed as the hotel will complete a $30 million renovation to all 330 rooms in their Lahaina Kai Tower. Through 2010 the property will go through an additional $300 million in improvements with a goal of transforming the property from a 2 star experience to a 4 or 5 star one. It is certainly located on a very nice beach on 27 acres of prime beachfront land. |
